আমাদের বিষয় ছিল ‘যুদ্ধ চাই না আর’। অবশ্যই যুদ্ধ বিরোধী। তবে সুরটি এক ক্লান্তির, ক্লান্ত আক্ষেপের। কবি সুকান্ত ভট্টাচার্যের অতি পরিচিত কবিতা ‘প্রিয়তমাসু’ থেকে ধার করা পঙক্তি। যুদ্ধ জীবনযাপনের স্বাভাবিক দ্বান্দ্বিক প্রক্রিয়া। অস্তিত্ব রক্ষার লড়াই। তবে এ ক্লান্তি তো সে ক্লান্তি নয় মহাশয়! এ ক্লান্তি শ্রমজীবী মানুষের পুঁজি ও অধিকার রক্ষা ও সম্প্রসারণের বিরামহীন লড়াইয়ে ভাড়া খাটার।
পরের জন্যে যুদ্ধ করেছি অনেক
এবার যুদ্ধ নিজের জন্যে।
নিজের জন্যে যে যুদ্ধ তা অসমাপ্ত রেখে তাকে মালিকের জন্যে যুদ্ধে নামতে হয়। মারতে হয়। মরতে হয়। ইতিহাসে যুদ্ধ উদযাপিত হয়। পৃথিবীর সব মহাকাব্যের অন্তর্বস্তু যুদ্ধে শুরু, যুদ্ধে শেষ। আমাদের লক্ষ্য সেই যুদ্ধ। যা আমাদের কবি লেখকরা বিভিন্ন দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে তুলে ধরেছেন। এই সংখ্যা আমাদের সংহত প্রতিক্রিয়া ও প্রতিবাদের। সর্বস্তরের যুদ্ধবিরোধী জনমানসের সমবেত প্রতিফলন। চারিদিকে বিকলাঙ্গ অন্ধ ভীড় অলীক প্রয়াণের এই জটিল সময়ে দাঁড়িয়ে যতো টুকু সম্ভব কণ্ঠ ছাড়া জোরে। যখন এক কবি তাঁর কবিতায় লেখেন, ‘যুদ্ধই সম্ভোগ’, সময়ের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে এ উচ্চারণ অমোঘ মনে হয়। এরকম বহু উচ্চারণে উন্মোচিত এবারের কক্ষপথ।
আমরা চেষ্টা করেছি। আন্তরিক প্রচেষ্টা। পাঠক সে প্রমাণ পাবেন, এ’ বিশ্বাস নিয়ে পাঠকের প্রতিক্রিয়ার অপেক্ষায়।

আমরা চেষ্টা করেছি। আন্তরিক প্রচেষ্টা। পাঠক সে প্রমাণ পাবেন, এ’ বিশ্বাস নিয়ে পাঠকের প্রতিক্রিয়ার অপেক্ষায়।
